Technical Training Course

This course is offered at Guardium’s training center throughout the year, typically once per month.

Overview: Technical training provides Guardium administrators with a comprehensive understanding of how to implement and maintain the Guardium solution.

Participants: Information Security professionals, Database Administrators, Auditors

Objectives:

  • Learn how to implement and support Guardium solutions in your environment
  • Learn how to create reports, audits, alerts, metrics, compliance oversight processes, and database access policies and controls
  • Learn about system administration, archiving, purging, and back-ups

Description: This course offers a balanced mix of lectures, hands-on lab work, case studies, and testing to ensure participants can effectively derive the full value of Guardium’s solution.  Each student has a dedicated workstation with direct access to a live Guardium system.  Sample exercises are completed during class and students can keep these examples as prototypes for their own implementations.  Training is provided by experienced technical services engineers, who command real-world knowledge of the product and its application in multiple production environments worldwide.

Location: Guardium’s training center in Waltham, Massachusetts

Tuition: The class participation cost is $2,400 per person. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Guardium Certification.


QuickStart Training Course
This course is offered at customer sites throughout the year.

Overview: QuickStart training provides Guardium users with a comprehensive understanding of how to utilize Guardium’s solution based on best practices.

Participants: Information Security professionals, Database Administrators, Auditors, Business Managers

Objectives: Learn how to use Guardium’s solution in your own environment. Create reports, audits, and alerts based on your business requirements.

Tuition: The class cost is $2,000 for up to two students, plus instructor travel expenses.  Additional enrollment is $1,000 for every additional student that participates in the on-site class, billed upon class completion.
