She also covers payment systems and financial flows in the business-to-consumer and business-to-business markets. Before joining Gartner, Avivah worked as a director of financial systems at the World Bank.


Rena Mears, Deloitte & Touche LLP, Partner, Security & Privacy Services
Rena Mears is a Partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP's Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) practice, and serves as the Global and U.S. Privacy & Data Protection market leader. She has more than twenty-five years supporting clients in the areas of risk management, privacy, data protection and security. Rena has led major privacy projects for global companies focused on the design and implementation of enterprise privacy programs. Engagements typically involve identifying, classifying and mapping personally identifiable information and the development of policies and procedures on planning and execution of remediation roadmaps, and the design of ongoing sustainment activities. In addition, she advises clients on issues involving the European Union Data Protection Directive, Safe Harbor, US Breach Notification Laws, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and HIPAA. Rena regularly presents at conferences and workshops, speaking on subjects such as Privacy Management, Privacy Architecture, Public Key Infrastructure Implementation, and customer or consumer trust. Rena has authored articles on how privacy issues affect the trust component of business transactions and is coauthor of the annual Enterprise@Risk Survey.

Robert Guinn, Director, Security Operations and Risk Management, ING Americas Financial Services,has over 15 years of experience in global roles in network and information security engineering, security operations and management. Prior to joining ING in 2001, he was a Senior Consulting Network Engineer for 3Com and a Network Engineer at Principal Financial Group. Robert has a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and a Masters in Business Technology.


Ron Ben Natan
Ron Ben Natan, Ph.D. and Guardium CTO
Dr. Ron Ben Natan commands more than 20 years of experience developing enterprise applications and security technology for blue-chip companies. Prior to Guardium, he worked for Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, Intel and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Ron has also served as a consultant in data security and distributed systems for HSBC, Phillip Morris, Miller Beer, HP, Applied Materials and the Swiss Armed Forces. An IBM GOLD consultant with a Ph.D. in computer science, Ron is an expert on distributed application environments, application security and database security, and has authored 12 technical books including HOWTO Secure and Audit Oracle 10g and 11g (CRC Press, 2009) and Implementing Database Security and Auditing (Elsevier Digital Press, 2005), the standard texts in the field.
